You’ll work on the OpenLayer’s core blockchain infrastructure, shipping things that decentralize and scale OpenLayer. There are a lot of design, performance and cryptography challenges that we’re running into at scale.

You’ll be responsible for shipping features end-to-end and also improving infrastructure by creating design systems, improving build pipelines and generally making it easy for other engineers to work in the codebase.

Must Haves:

• You can work with high autonomy from research, spec, implementation, deployment, monitoring and patching your code
• You have extensive experience in shipping production-grade code that handles thousands of user interactions or transactions
• Extensive knowledge about the inner workings of the Ethereum client architecture and especially its EVM execution client geth
• 3+ years of experience writing production software.
• 2+ years of experience with Solidity
• 3+ years experience with Web3 libraries and backend development (e.g. ethers.js, viem)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to haves

• Experience designing for crypto infrastructure projects.
